Nice sunny day, thought TreeTeller as she licked her paw to brush it over her ear. "Hey, Tree, called Mud. "I'm going to the hot spring. See ya !" TreeTeller twitched her tail. "Not for long, your kitties, huh ?" Mud smiled and left. Wonderful. We need kits. TreeTeller lazily laid down, sunbathing herself. She took a thrush for the fresh-kill pile and devoured it. "MAAA !" TreeTeller instantly got up, her ears flickering at the sound of the fear-cry. She ran to the hot spring, This was Mud ! She fought her way in the bramble bush, and leaped to join Mud. " What's happening ?" she panted. "Intruders" said Mud. Three cats, a ginger, a calico and a tabby stood before them.
"We are not intruders. We wish to join, said the tabby.
-Your names ? asked TreeTeller.
-I'm Blossom, and these are Sunrise and Shine, said the calico, pointing in turn to the ginger and the tabby.
- Follow me to the camp."
TreeTeller led back her Tribe to the camp. "New cats, she announced. Sunrise, come. The ginger tom padded to her, interest flickering in his eyes. "Sunrise and Shine, you are guards. They nodded. "Your den is over there," She pointed to a hollow tree the over side of the clearing.
"Blossom, you are a hunter. Your den's there." She showed her another hollow tree.
"I am very pleased to welcome you in this tribe."

She gazed at the sky. Yes, a very nice day indeed !
